Residents from the village are employed daily for various activities on the farm. Their involvement spans from the farm's inception, through trenching, planting, mulching, daily operations, and overall care of the farm.
By transforming this wasteland, the urban farm has created numerous job opportunities, marking a significant step toward sustainable biodiversity through a local socio-economic model. This initiative has piqued the interest of neighboring residential communities, inspiring them to consider participating in urban farming activities. Currently, the farm is distributing sample produce to the neighborhood on a trial basis. The urban farm focuses exclusively on organic produce, promoting the health and well-being of its consumers. Additionally, it has attracted local women, who are now employed daily in farm activities.
